(Thursday, 8th September 2011) Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Aer Arann, the official airline of Munster Rugby, today welcomed the Munster squad on board its scheduled service from Cork to Glasgow ahead of the highly anticipated RaboDirect PRO12 clash with Glasgow Warriors in Firhill stadium this weekend.
Aer Lingus Regional passengers and fans travelling to Glasgow were in for a treat as they got the chance to personally meet the players, have their photos taken and autographs signed before boarding the aircraft.
As they took to the skies from Cork Airport, the Aer Lingus Regional cabin crew announced that two lucky passengers has also won tickets to Friday’s showdown against Glasgow Warriors and the squad congratulated the winners in person upon arrival.
